That’s not me trying to come up with a cute headline. That’s the name of an award-winning short film by Queens-based director Kim Cummings. Her plan is to raise money so that she can expand the characters and themes introduced in the short into a full-length feature film. Since the short is so promising, and because Kim is a remarkable woman who is deeply committed to bettering things around her, I’m going to bet my money ($15) on her and attend the fantastic fundraising event she is holding on Thursday, November 8, 7-9:30 p.m., in the West Village. Anyone who reads this blog is welcome. Details are on her Web site.
