George Gee and the Jump Jivin’ Wailers, a terrific swing band that has played for years at Chamber of Commerce-sponsored free concerts in Forest Hills, will be playing every Friday in December in Chinatown at Grand Harmony Palace, 98 Mott St., a place that sounds bizarre enough to be happening.

Shanghai Jazz comes to New York City by way of The Grand Harmony Palace in Chinatown, NYC! Delicious Chinese food with plentiful side dishes of SWING and JAZZ—all served HOT in the climate-controlled, colorful and exotic motif of a 1920s/1930s Shanghai Jazz Club.

Geroge Gee will also be playing on December 11 and 18 at Swing46 Jazz & Supper Club in Times Square, 8:30–11.

Check them out. They just might hep you.
