The Neighborhoods of Queens

With a terrific cover, a legit. publisher (Yale University Press), and a writer who spent a few formative years in Forest Hills, this strikes me as a must-have. Author Claudia Gryvatz Copquin has done a solid job of getting the goods on 99 Queens neighborhoods down in one place with informative text, maps, statistics, and photos galore. She and the book are garnering press and good reviews. It’s available online through Yale UP’s site ($35) and Amazon ($23.10).”It really is meant for everybody who lives in the borough,” says Gryvatz Copquin. Okay, I’m in.  51yjghlxijl_aa240_.jpg
