Toddlers: She’s Back!

images-2.jpeg Okay, toddlers, feel free to say to your parents, “The lonely winter is over. Jodi is back!” That’s Jodi Wronski, the Pied Piperette of Toddler Time at the Community House (located at Church in the Gardens), which ceased operations last spring and left Forest Hills down one excellent option for pre-school enrichment. At the time, Jodi, whose skills in teaching this age group are, in my experience, unrivaled in the neighborhood, hinted that she might take over the owning and running of Toddler Time. September came around, no news. On a lark, I popped into Church in the Gardens’ main office a few weeks back to see if they knew anything. That’s when I found out the Jodi had indeed bought the business, renamed it, and would start classes in January. By coincidence, I ran into Jodi on Austin St. and she gave me the scoop.

Little Lessons, as it is now called, will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. It will be similar to Toddler Time in its class offerings—music, art, and gym. But Jodi is also including science classes, and just on her description I reserved a spot for my daughter. For more information, and to really do right by your kid, call Jodi at 718-326-7554. Classes start right after New Years.
