NY’s Primaries Are in Sight

I’m taking a quick break from this evening’s debates to post a reminder that the primaries for New York State will be held on February 5. (Like Daylight Saving Time, primary day has been moved up). The deadline for registering to vote is January 11; if you haven’t already done so, click here to get the process started.

    I believe this is also the date for Mardi Gras, so It is an interesting calendrical juxtaposition of events. What can only wonder what the competing news coverage will be that night. Here’s to beads and ballots. Thanks for the head’s up.

    People could get silly drunk and then head for the poling booth. Everyone thinks they’re absolutely sober when they make their decision but the results this past decade belie that.
