images3.jpegContinuing on the crime theme, this sounds like a chance for a few of us to play out our deepest (and darkest?) fantasies. The NYC Police Department offers a Citizen Police Academy. The course provides an overview of the training a newly assigned police officer would receive in the NYC Police Academy. Classes meet once a week for 13 weeks, wrapped up with a graduation ceremony.

To participate, you have to be 21 years old or over.

Find out more by contacting Gigi Redzematovic or James Smith, police officers in the Community Affairs division of the 112th Precinct, at 718-520-9321.

Entry filed under: community, Forest Hills, Queens, resource.

You could always join the Auxiliary Police in the 112 precinct. You can partol your neighbourhood and take pride in knowing you are making Forest Hills a safer place. By being an Auxiliary Police officer, you are letting the real Police officers get to the serious crimes quicker without having to do traffic duty or some of the regular stuff that eats up thier time.
