There’s an article in the Queens Chronicle about “The Changing Face of Forest Hills” that focuses on Metropolitan Ave. It’s a welcome angle since too often people think Forest Hills = Austin Street. But recent development on Metropolitan as well as up Queens Boulevard (Tierra Sana; what next?) points to an overall overhaul of retail attitude throughout the neighborhood. We’re just beginning to see the manifestations of it.
