Fear-Based RE

In an economy where nearly everyone is worried about their mortgage or the value of their home (not to mention the price of gas, toilet paper, and everything else), this kind of advertising has a Bushian, dated flavor.

Madeleine Realty is a fine agency–honest and up front. But it definitely should rethink this particular billboard, which isn’t clever or particularly effective, and if you’re going to mar Forest Hills’ landscape for a few month, at least have one of these things going for you.

That sign has been there almost a year. It was a NYC Corrections Dept. sign before that.

Madeiline Realty is neither honest nor upfront, from our personal experiences with them.

I’ve only had one, peripheral encounter with Mad. and it was problem-free. Definitely good to hear about other people’s experiences–word of mouth is the best from of advertisement (or disparagement!).

I passed this sign probably about a dozen times before I actually realized what it was. I saw the iconography and just assumed it had to do with electricity, which I wasn’t gonna go near anyway.

The sign caught my eye a while ago, thought it was clever. I have dealt with them in the past, and they seem to be very honest and sincere
